Job Description

Our client is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to do the following: Complete the Customer Acquisition Sales Model. Provide residential customers with a coordinated point of contact for all customer issues. This role contributes to the Company by improving customer satisfaction and adding new revenue.

Primary Duties: •Sell energy related products and services to residential customers following company standards and policies. •Responsible for ensuring timely installation of new utility service and for accurately providing related revenue estimates for all assigned residential customer requesting service. •Expected to navigate multiple computer systems efficiently and accurately, enter data, records transactions while interfacing with the customer. •Responsible for the collection of contributions in aid to construction, deposit monies and customer information necessary to establish new or upgraded service for residential customers. •Coordination and/or installation of new or upgraded utility services.

Accountabilities: •Achieve sales goals as assigned. •Ensure new customer revenue and load estimates are accurate. •Create work project documentation packages. •Daily reporting and updating customer contact information and activities using designated CRM applications. •Achieve target customer satisfaction levels. •Cell Phone and Laptop will be provided. •Training will be provided.

Work Schedule: M-F 8:00a.m.-4:30p.m. Possible weekend and weekday shifted coverage as required.

Education: •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or significant Inside Sales/ Customer Service work experience.

Experience: •Minimum 2 years of Customer Service experience in a call center/customer service type environment; HVAC sales/service experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: •Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); strong interpersonal skills and problem solving capabilities; strong business acumen and technical competence . •MS Office Competency – Able to use PC, handheld devices and desktop applications; email; digital content files; understands the concepts of energy economics; residential HVAC equipment familiarity.
